THE PIER

A magnificently in-tact and preserved structure despite the war, the pier is a generally exceedingly serene, tranquil spot of which to visit. When the tide has receded and the waters are calm, the area can seem nearly ethereal, the glint from the sun among the water’s surface glorious to those of which are capable of beholding it. However, this area can also turn dangerously fatal, should a storm be lingering upon the horizon; if the tide is high, waves will often crash over the dock, thus creating the possibility for immense danger.
