DAMSEL
FEMALE
TWO YEARS
SIBERIAN HUSKY x AMERICAN ESKIMO x PITBULL
NEMILEST
Damsel is a mixture of three different breeds. Her mother, a Siberian Husky and American Eskimo, was considered a designer breed, which pretty much means both of her parents were purebred. Her father was a full-blooded Pitbull. All three of these breeds gave Damsel certain attributes, making her a very unique looking dog. The first thing most others notice about her is her eyes. They're as bright as her Siberian ancestors, but what's odd about them is the fact her fur color doesn't seem to match it at all. Her fur is a mixture of colors, actually. Mainly, it's a reddish brown color, but the underneath of her tail is white with a black tip. Her two front legs are completely white, too, while most of her muzzle and maw is black. Though, the top of her nose is completely white. Her ears are also black.
Another slightly interesting attribute her ancestors gave her would be her curled tail. Instead of coming out and brushing the ground, as soon as it comes out of the base of her spine, it curls. It doesn't touch her back, though. It comes out, curls, and then points directly behind her. Damsel is also not as big as most would think she is. She's not quite done growing yet, but she's still only fifteen inches tall. Thankfully, she inherits muscle from the Pitbull part of her, and she weighs a good forty pounds. Although, you can't really see her muscles all that much. Her red brown fur is very thick and lush, and covers most of everything about her. It's good for the winter, though, and protects her flesh somewhat from vicious claws.

Honestly, Damsel is not yet done maturing, and it shows greatly by how she acts. The canine is not exactly immature, she just has all this pent-up energy bubbling inside of her. Sometimes, it could come out in short bursts throughout the day, but most of the time, it comes out all at the same time and she doesn't know what to do with it all of the time. But, that's not to say she can't have her chill moments, too. She's two years old, so that means she's almost full grown. You could almost describe her as a puppy trapped in a dog's body. While one second, she could be bouncing around talking a mile a minute, the next second, she's sitting, having a normal conversation with another animal.
That's something interesting about Damsel. Even though she's in a pack herself, she doesn't think there should be any sort of feud going on. She thinks it's useless. Mostly because she lost her housefolk because of their stupidity, and she feels like canines are going to go extinct as well if they don't shape up. Honestly, she's a very sociable canine. Big, small, canine, wolf, she'll be friends with anybody. Although, she doesn't really believe in same sex relationships. Of course, she would never discriminate against animals in love. She'll support them one hundred percent, and might even think the relationship is cute. Damsel would just never mate with another female herself.
You can honestly say that Damsel is the most giving canine you will ever meet. She will go without in order to let others have something. It could be the only thing she caught that day, but she sees an animal as equally as starving as her, and she'll give it all to them. But, this isn't always a good thing. Well, for her, that is. Damsel is the type of canine to let others walk all over her. She honestly doesn't even realize what's going on. She just thinks that if she doesn't do nice things for others, they'll dislike her, and she can't stand to be disliked. She's very sensitive about that. Honestly, Damsel feels there is no reason for anybody to dislike her. This isn't a good thing about her, because she gets very offended because of it. Actually, Damsel gets easily offended about anything quickly.

It was late spring when Swayze gave birth to a litter of puppies. The father was unknown to everybody except Swayze herself; she wouldn't even tell her own pups who there father was. It's a long back story, that one, but essential to Damsel's own story.
Back when Swayze was just coming of age at about two, she met a lone dog that always seemed to be roaming the woods behind her housefolks' house. Even though he seemed harmless in nature, his appearance was very brooding and stocky. He would win in a fight against anybody. For some reason, this intrigued Swayze immensely. She just knew she would have to meet him, get to know him. In a matter of a month, she had accomplished this, and the two bonded quickly. It almost seemed like it was meant to be, those two. It seemed like Swayze was always using her door to get out at night, just to meet him. They talked for hours at a time, and even though Swayze was tired in the mornings, she knew it was worth it just to be near him.
After months and months of them secretly meeting, Swayze found out that she would be bearing his pups. Honestly, she was ecstatic. This would just strengthen there bond, and somewhere deep in her mind, she was hoping that maybe her housefolk would let him live with her. They could be a happy family together. But, as in all good love stories, tragedy struck down on the two. It was midday when Swayze heard the barking, and instantly she could tell it was his. He was in trouble, and she needed to go help him. Within seconds she found where he was and her heart broke. He was being loaded into the back of a Catcher's van. Even though she ran as fast as she could, her pregnant belly slowed her down, and by the time she made it to where the van had been, it was well down the road. Swayze vowed she would take the best care of his pups as she could.
Well, she did. When her two pups were born, Damsel, the female, and Leon, the male, she loved them like she thought no other mother loved their children. Eventually, Damsel began asking questions once she was a few weeks old. Most of them were harmless, but when she got on the subject of her father, it pained her mother and she would go outside and just stare at the woods behind the house, refusing to talk to anybody. After a while, though, she would come back inside and act like her normal, cheerful self. No one dared ask her what she thought about while she was out there, they all just acted as if it was a normal occurrence.
As time went on, Damsel aged, and soon enough, she was old enough to be relocated to another home. Swayze's housefolk were never really her or Leon's housefolk, and the two knew that, eventually, they would be relocated to some nice people that would take good care of them. Never did they realize they would be sent to separate houses. When the day did come, though, they were both shipped off to their new homes, and neither of them saw each other, or their mother, again.
Damsel liked her new housefolk a great deal. There were small children that she could play with, a great backyard where she could run. She had only been with them for about a year before the disaster struck. Her housefolk didn't even take her with them when they left their house, they just left without a word. It took Swayze a while, but she eventually dug a hole under her fence and realized that there were no humans around at all. It seemed like they had all left just like her housefolk had. For a few months, she was a loner, but eventually, she found one of the packs, Cesavias, and was permitted to join their ranks.
