COSETTE
FEMALE
2 MONTHS
AUSTRALIAN SHEPHERDXCATTLE DOG
CESAVIAS
PUPPY - She is young, her body undeveloped and awkward still. However her colors will remain the same throughout her life. At the moment she has short stubby legs, she carries herself with an unsteady pace. As she learns how her body functions and learns its limitations. Ears stand proudly atop her skull, her fur is thick a reminder of her mothers purebred Australian shepherd genetics. Muscles are undeveloped and fur pattern is prominent of that it will be as she ages. A soft white downy fur lies at the very base of her patterns. Flesh with her skin, but it would quickly be covered by dark grays and blacks. Spotted like splashed paint across her canvas with light browns panting near her face and legs. Her fur is rather messy sticking out all over the place as she has little interest in keeping it clean at this young age. Cosette has a short stubby tail and duo colored eyes. One brown, one blue.
ADULT- She will keep the majority of her colors, actually almost all of them. Though they will darken and become much more vivid. Contrast growing as she loses that feathery puppy fur. She'll keep the stocky shorter legs with a long body. Reaching about 21 inches at the shoulder and weigh in at around 40 pounds. Her eyes will remain the same colors and her ears will flop over about half way but she'll still be able to pick them up. As she ages she'll become known for her agility from her herding genes and become quite the hunter. The fur that was once messy and fluffy will now lay gently along her back, neat and clean for the most part aside from her legs and face where it still feathers out a bit.

A lot to her personality will be determined from those she grows up around. She will be shaped and molded according to who raises her. They will help to decide the direction her heart will take. At the moment she comes off as shy when you first meet her, due to the trauma she experienced in the short month of her life. Though equally adventurous and happy like any young child would be. A clumsy nature that she will keep throughout her entire life. Awkward with her body, almost as if she had bad eye sight which she does not. She doesn't exactly enjoy meeting strangers, preferring to stick close to those she already knows. Creating strong bonds loyalty and trust with those she knows well. Nature and exploring new things on the land is her specialty, she will go through everything and anything and make sure she knows what the place consists of. Instead of sitting back and observing, Cosette is more so the up in your face type. Lacking the personal boundaries within her own mind. The woman is the touchy type and will keep this throughout her life. Typically playful and happy, she knows when to be serious though.
Being rigid has to be one of her specialties she does not like to give and is severely stubborn. Though she lacks interest of being in charge, she just wants to do things her way at all times. Fighting anyone who tries to push her down another path. Respectable towards those that are older or higher rank than her she will always be young at heart and mind and kind of looks up to them. Seeing herself as a terrible leader, and tending to rely on others to take the lead role. But she remains confident in her decisions and actions and isn't afraid of what lies ahead. Some traits that will grow as she gets older is a need for danger, longing to chase it and find it with every intention of putting herself in harms way simply for the rush. She will grow to drag boys around and wrap them around her finger like any woman she uses what she has to get what she wants.

Cosette has such a short lived past. Only two months of history behind her, not much to impact what the child will become like. Which is why right now she remains as innocent as any young child. But fragile is her personality, able to be molded due to the lack of past.
A sunny morning, the bright ball of fire peaking up over the horizon. To light up a new world, and as well. New lives. In the cold of the early spring morning yips can be heard from the barn where a lovely family is settled gazing over their newborns with loving eyes. The father, a cattle dog which gave Cosette the majority of her colors. And her mother an Australian shepherd giving her most of her appearance. The humans had already left, not long after her mother became pregnant with her and her siblings. A good friend of her parents, Raiden would be at their birth shortly after their arrival. She was the smallest out of the litter and the only girl out of a total of five. She grew up a very short time with her parents actually they just recently vanished. Falling to the cold world that had grown since their people abandoned them. Her parents were either chased away, or killed, no one really knows. One day they just weren't there anymore. Thankfully the puppies were already weaned, or close enough to being weaned that they could go without their moms milk. Cosette watched her brothers along with herself fight for their lives. And slowly, they would all perish. She would watch them go, through starvation or sickness. The brothers always tried looking out for her over themselves. And so she has survived. Afraid she remains huddled in the empty barn, the stench of death still hanging in the air though she did her best to bury them. Ribs and hip bones sticking out clearly, her small body shivering as she tries to hold onto life. Just hoping, that someone will come. Too afraid to step foot out into the big world.
