His life had always be hectic, he had gotten his way with the collie, of course he knew she was on board with his games the entire time. Craving him like any woman should. Perhaps he should visit her again sometime for more fun. There was no escaping him, he had her scent now and he could track her down. No one escaped the beasts clutches once he lured you into his cave. He would find his little toy again. Her scent was not here though, and while he was looking for her, he was searching for any other lone female that happened to be lurking about the abandoned mall. He remembered being allowed in here even when the humans were around. They were doing a search for bombs if he remembered correctly. Claws clicked against the cold floor, this place had been trashed since the humans left, many things had. Good riddance, this was a world far more suitable for dogs anyway. Humans were disgusting, pathetic. The mere thought of those creatures gave him chills. His tail swayed back and forth hanging low behind him, brushing against the floor ever so slightly.
"God, this place is no fun now is it?" he spoke out, wondering if anyone else would hear him. Cocking his head to the side, he hoped upon one of the tables in the food court. Grimm was powerful strong, a choke chain hung around his neck. Not in tip top shape like it had been. Stained in blood, with some plants caught in the twists of it. Sitting down, ears perked upon his skull he glanced around curiously, tongue rolling out of his mouth. It was pouring outside now, he could hear the rain pattering against the roof. Spring showers, luckily he had gotten inside just before the dark clouds decided to pour their hell down on him.
He wasn't too fond of rain, being wet was just an uncomfortable feeling in general. Shaking his head he picked himself up, leaping down from the table, continuing on, leaving the food court onto the many shops that scattered the mall. They were still full of merchandise, most of which had been knocked over and destroyed, but it was still there. Shelves collapsed on top of one another, books and broken pieces of glass. Padding around one of the stores he quickly grew bored and began trotting down the strip where the benches and trash cans were. Climbing upon one of the benches, he lied down, resting his head between his paws. His tail hanging lazily off the old wood. Grimm closed his eyes for a moment, but his ears were alert, always alert. Never let your guard down.

White paws padded through the hallway, letting tiny clicks of her claws hit the tiled floor. Her eyes looked around cautiously, taking in every single detail that she could manage. She had only taken a trip here once or twice, and it had been only a minor adventure. Midna let the scents flood her nose, alerting her to the dusty scents that she encountered along the way. Sadly, it seemed that this secondary adventure would be just as boring as the first. Trash was scattered everywhere, stores torn to pieces, glass littering the floor like glitter. Although it was damaged, Midna found herself appreciating the disorder. It sparked her interest in a very strange way, showing just how chaotic it had become. Life was not always so kind.
"God, this place is no fun now is it?"
Midna's ears pricked instantly, her body frozen and preparing for a seconds encounter. Another creature was here, wading through the same mess that she was, and also speaking her exact thoughts. She could practically smirk, before moving closer to the shadows. Her white fur was not exactly disguising her here, and she needed to be undetected; at least for the moment. She waited for the stranger to escape her senses before letting herself breath in the remainder of its scent. Dog. Male. Clearly comfortable. Amber eyes glanced down the hallway, unable to detect him by vision, before slowly easing her way into his direction.
Her paws brought her past the abandoned food court, and she stopped for a moment to take in the scene before her. Tables turned over, broken, destroyed. Papers, trash cans, broken glass, treys, but no trace of food. She could only imagine the beginning of the end; different creatures rushing for the meals, fighting over a few bits and pieces. In the end there must have been scraps, but they were all consumed by this point. Not a bad idea, scavenging the human's remainders. If she had been in the same paws, she might have even followed their lead.
Letting herself continue on, her thought forgotten about, her paws led her closer to the stranger. She wondered what he was like- perhaps kind, perhaps cruel. Maybe he was a selfless soul, or instead was a fighting dog at heart. The mystery tempted her, letting her young curious nature lead her into whatever naive consequences it might hold. Her ears detected the thunder and rain surrounding the building- which might have been a warning, but even if it was, she paid no mind to it. Her focus was on the unknown, and she was getting closer. Her eyes finally settled on his form, relaxing on a bench not too far away. Her nose finally detected his close presence, and she felt the stillness within the air.
" Hello Stranger. "

Eyes snapped open, the movement was instant, head shooting up, ears perking. His gaze washing over the hallways, nose twitching. Someone else was here. Female...ah a female. How, delightful. He stayed relaxed, no girl would be much of a threat to him, and he sighed with contentment, closing his eyes once more. Silly, foolish girls. It wasn't until she made her arrival that Grimm would stir again, opening his eyes lazily, as if he had not previously detected her presence. Lifting his head up casually, he smiled at her, blinking a little bit. Another wolf, huh the last wolf he met tried to to rip his head off over a deer. Muscles tensed as he sat up, jumping down his claws clicking lightly as they met the hard flooring. "Why hello dearest." he purred, rolling his shoulders, as he stretched. The choke chain that hung around his neck was clearly old, and had some debris caught in them. His eyes would wash over her hungrily, greedily. Grimm, you devil. The man was a demon, it was why they gave him his name, to rip the life from those around him. His tail swayed back and forth eagerly as he took a few steps towards the girl.
"What brings you to the realm of the dogs?" he questioned, cocking his head to the side. This was far from a wolf's comfort zone. Typically they would be out in the wilderness, not in this concrete jungle. So curiosity sparked in his thoughts, why was she here? Maybe she'd heard of him from the others girls. If she was searching for a bad boy and a good time she had come to the right place. Tail flicked, his massive ears perking atop his dark face. Grimm was extremely athletic, he always had been, that came with being a police dog. It was his job to keep fit, but he was no hero. He had slain his damn owner, curse that human. Acting like he had any right to claim ownership over him. Grimm was not owned, by anyone but himself. Lowering his rump to the cold floor, another devilish smirk would stretch across his maw.
"If you're looking for a big bad guard dog, I could be your guy." he said with a soft chuckle. But who would protect her from him? No one, no one would protect the little red from the big bad Grimm. Sliding his tongue over his lips, he waited patiently for a response, however impatience tugged at his inner thoughts. Now, now Grimm. Be a good actor. If he screwed up his acting he could ruin this, he spent most of his time alone, only getting his fun every now and then when an unsuspecting female crossed his path. He would lie to them, win their hearts over until he got what he wanted and then drop them like yesterdays news. Such a terrible influence on this world he had become.

Midna's eyes watched him carefully after she spoke. His calm reaction made her feel a bit more guarded than she originally intended. His body clearly signified that he was strong, and she got the feeling that he was a 'do what i want when i want' kind of dog as he got to his paws.
"Why hello dearest."

[/i] She felt herself smirk, not letting her cautious feelings bubble to the surface. His body language showed just how powerful he felt, which made her curious as to how the rest of this conversation would go. She knew her speed would assist her if she had to make a necessary get away- but running away was not in her plans for today. His paw steps were the only other audible thing outside of the waiting storm. "What brings you to the realm of the dogs?"[/i] Her eyes flickered to his face. "I didn't know that the dogs claimed this as their own." She told him calmly, glancing around a bit. She was sure to keep him inside her peripheral vision at all times though, just as a precaution. "Human society was once familiar to me, so i thought a bit of aftermath exploring wouldn't hurt." Her voice felt quiet, but the silence spread her words out loud enough for every building to bounce off of. "May i ask what your business is here?" Her memories fluttered quickly across her mind; flashes of her care taker, her packmates, Zach. She wouldn't ever admit it, but she was always keeping her eye out for her half brother. It had been quite awhile since they had last spoke, but she couldn't help herself from checking every place she thought of for him. Imagining him all by himself, living off the scraps he could find, having to face predators all on his own.. it was the one thing she regretted. She should have kept him from leaving, asked him to stay, made him stay. Her memories vanished before she knew it, taking her right back into the moment with this stranger. "If you're looking for a big bad guard dog, I could be your guy."Midna let her eyes meet his, seeing nothing beyond his grinning expression. She mentally cursed herself for not working more with her words, in case she ever needed them to escape a dangerous situation. She kept her one of pure calm though, smiling a bit before letting herself reply. "Although i do appreciate your offer, i can take care of myself." She told him with a small smirk. " Otherwise i wouldn't have lasted even this long."[/b] She let herself take a seat as well a few feet from his own spot. "Of course, some company would be nice until this storm decides to go along its way." She mentioned to him as she glanced up at the windows looming above their skulls. The rain pattered above them, and she couldn't help but feel grateful for the little bit of cover that it seemed to have saved. She let her voice ring out once more. " The name's Midna, by the way."[/b] Lowering her head, she let her amber eyes follow him again. That smirk that crossed her face was just fuel to his fire, to help him burn even brighter and hotter. He mimicked her, his interest locked on her, like a hunter would be his prey. Muscles tensed, why wouldn't this world belong to the dogs? It did once before, the wolves wouldn't dare cross these lands, not with the humans around. As creations of the humans, they should be just as intimidating. Grimm gave a soft chuckle, it was like sweet poison dripping from his lips oh so flawlessly. Unusually so he was done putting on an act, a fake face that he used to lure women to him. He didn't feel the need with this one, the want to have her. He felt he could...be himself. "I just assumed, bein' as the wolves didn't have the courage to step foot in here while the humans reigned." he retaliated. No, he didn't hate the wolves, he just wanted to see if he could push her buttons. She was so polite with her words, so dainty and kind it seemed. It made him sick, practically forced chills down his spine. Gross. Her outer appearance spoke of calm energy, and he cocked his head to the side. What was under that? At her question he smiled. Warmly even. It was surprising even to him.
"Oh, nothing truly." he mused, throwing the answer around like it was weightless. Ears flicked towards her as she declined his offer, he didn't expect more. The ladies always thought they could take care of themselves. Such confidence. But she wanted company, snap and shut. The trap clamped down upon her mentality. He gave her a dashing smile, his tail shifting side to side eagerly. And his mask would return. "Well, i'd be more than happy m'lady." he cooed gently. Grimm would work on one female for months, steal her heart and then take off into the night, never to see her again. He was a patient man, and knew how to play his cards right. Catching her name, he smiled, inching a bit closer to her. "Beautiful, I am Grimm." he told her dipping his head. Muscles tensed as he swept in closer to her, it was a friendly gesture, as though he intended to keep her company just as she had requested.
"And if ya' ever change your mind, I can always be permanent company." he said, flashing her a smile, and a wink. Grimm, he was such a good liar. He wouldn't stick around any longer than he needed to break her little heart in two. The pattering of the rain against the building was kind of welcoming, maybe this would be a long storm. He did hope so, the longer he got to reel the woman in. Time was always something he could use more and more of.

The soft chuckle that escaped his jaws caused a mental shiver to go down her spine. She told herself to be calm, and to not throw out judgement without knowing the truth. As intimidating as he might be, to wrongly believe him to be any sort of evil would be wrong. At least, in her mind it would be.
"I just assumed, bein' as the wolves didn't have the courage to step foot in here while the humans reigned."

[/i] She felt herself smile, a small laugh even escaped from her jaws. "Well, i suppose you could say im not as traditional as those old fur bags." She told him, shaking her head a bit. Of course she respected her pack mates, and although she didn't see them as cowardly- she could understand what he meant. Sitting in their old wooden haven for their whole lives, living in the wild nature. It had its appeal, sure. But Midna had a tie to these simple humans, a part of her that would always feel unwelcome with the pure dirt under her paws. His assumption that she would hate being here would normally be right; but, for whatever reason, she was born into a different kind of life. Her amber eyes gently looked over their surroundings, and she had a faint longing to search for the known within the unknown. "Buildings should not be feared, but explored. You never know what you'll find."[/b] She let the words slip from her jaws without much thought, but as she turned to him she smiled a bit, noticing the smile that traced his jaws as well. "Well, i'd be more than happy m'lady."[/i] Her smile warmed, and she was glad to have found company within the palace of the destroyed. "Well, im happy to have found company then."[/b] She told him. Although she was not completely sure about him, he seemed kind- behind the strange and menacing first appearance. She once again reminded herself how wrong first assumptions could be, and she was glad to have that knowledge within her paws. She felt him inch closer to her, and although she was used to having more space around her, she tried to adapt to what he might have been more comfortable with. "Beautiful, I am Grimm."[/i] His name was one she had never heard before, so she tilted her head a bit. It was.. interesting. "I've never heard such a name before, but i like it."[/b] She faced him once more, and smiled in a friendly manner. "Its very nice to meet you Grimm."[/color] She said, happy to have someone to keep her company during the storm. Although she would not mind walking in the rain back to camp, she also didn't mind sitting around and enjoying some other company besides her pack mates. As kind as they could be, she often felt so different on the inside, that she often wondered if she really belonged. Would they have kicked her out if she had simply been physically different? Even if she acted, thought, and believed no differently? She knew the answer, and it had the power to sour her stomach whenever she decided to really think about it. "And if ya' ever change your mind, I can always be permanent company."His words snapped her quickly out of her thoughts, for which she was thankful. Feeling sick would not have made much for conversation, and she didn't want to leave just yet. His smile and wink made her laugh; not in a bad way, but in a very kind kind of way. "Well aren't you a sweetheart. Throwing out your lasting company to a wolf you have only just met." She told him, an amused smile placed directly on her muzzle. "I'm sure there are plenty of other females to catch your attention. Ones that are surely much more.. adapted to such loving attention. "[/b] She said calmly, feeling much more relaxed now than she had at the beginning of their meeting. He smiled as she did, and chuckled at her words. Well that was a relief, Lyra was one of those very stuck up wolves of her kind. That generation was just all bad. "Good to know m'dear." he purred, ears flicking towards her. His black mask of coloration that covered his face gave him more of a mysterious edge than his personality. Muscles tensed as he watched her, continued to inch closer to her. Just inches from brushing against her. "I couldn't agree more, shall we explore together?" he asked her. There were plenty of rooms, and stores to explore here. A lot of human ruins, and what better than some bonding time with the lady during the storm? She seemed to have no problem with how close he was becoming. And so, in a friendly gesture he took a step away. To make sure she was feeling comfortable. Time, these things took time he always had to remind himself.
So she liked his name did she? Well that was good, he was named after the Grim reaper himself. Death, destruction, chaos. Was she attracted to the darker, more morbid things in life? Attracted to danger? Grinning he dipped his head. "Well thank you." he noted. That fake smile never leaving his face. He cocked his head to the side at her next words. "I really think it's guts that matter most." he hummed, the dark little quote adding more of an edge to their conversation. She had courage wandering into unknown territory, he liked that about her. "Takes a lot of courage to wander into...unknown lands." he told her, who knew what monsters were lurking about. And the trap snaps shut, he had her, oh it was so easy. So, so easy. Smiling, he took another step towards her, gently brushing against her. He had to remind himself to be patient and took a step back, looking awkward as ever. Acting, Grimm, acting.
"My apologies....you're beautiful, it's hard to resist a girl like you." he told her, looking to the cold floor, as if he were ashamed of his actions, then glancing back up to her. Eyes flickering between each, as if he was no longer sure if he should be looking at her after what he did. They had only just met after all, and she surely was not like Rue. "We should....um...get going...exploring." he said, stumbling over the words as he turned sharply, slowly walking off in the direction of one of the stores that was closest to them.
