Wyldernis

Wyldernis is a play-by-post role-playing game, based in an alternate world where wolves are the dominant species and humans never existed. Our goal is to be a rich, creative, and community-built game. Inspired by table-top roleplaying games, Wyldernis introduces new aspects to the play-by-post style of role-play: character leveling, combat, random events and more. We are committed to being a free, open and creative home to role-players that share a common interest and respect for the wolf. It is the firm belief of Wyldernis that its members play the most important role in its continued success, and therefore their ideas and creativity are valued above all else.

THE PREMISE
Legends say that the Dire Wolves were keepers of the land and guardians of the Known World; that under their protective gaze, life flourished. But thousands of years ago, the Dire Wolves vanished—leaving wolfkind to fend for themselves. In the time that has passed since Direfall, the three subspecies survived with little upset and their mighty guardians faded to myth. Now, a Great Famine threatens the Known World, driving many in their search for Wyldernis. A paradise where, legend says, the Dire Wolves will return to save them all.
