Vyra
Female
4
Timber Wolf
Xarthen
Vyra's form is that of a lethal and swift predator. Tall legs and a skinny bodice give her the advantage of speed and maneuverability on her enemies.. or her meals. She stands tall for her breed of timber wolf, about the same size as a grey wolf, only a few inches shorter unless you count ears of course. Vyra's face holds a very calm but threatening look. Her honey yellow eyes pierce anything that she turns to look at, even if it is not meant in a harsh way. The fae's fur is a molted color of whites to greys and browns to black. The most distinct colors of her coat are the dark brown ears that sit on her head, her ebony tail with a white tip to it, and the black stripe that runs down the middle of her face to her nose.
Vyra is not very heavy set at all, in fact she's very light, even for her breed. She seemingly only weights that of a few pounds of feathers, but she does weigh a healthy eighty or so pounds. Her sharp teeth and claws are her best weapons, as well as her sharp tongue when it comes to the situations that do not require physical contact. Vyra is an excellent hunter, her skills intensified by her well equipped tracking skills by her ebony nose.
While all this is true, Vyra is not physically very strong. Being this, although she may not give one the chance, she can easily be overpowered by brute force. Rendering her speed virtually useless if you can catch her.

Vyra, despite her intense and sharp appearance, is a very calm headed. In hard times, she is often one that will come forward and be the shoulder to lean on, the one with the necessary advice, and in times.. the motherly figure one might need. She holds herself in a way that one would think she thought herself better of anyone. Although because of this, her composure can be taken as a weakness by her enemies. And in this way, they would be making a fatal error in their thinking.
While Vyra holds a very professional air to her, she will never be afraid to take a dive into a fight if it means defending her family. For family, to her, is the most important thing in life to keep safe. When push comes to shove Vyra is a key asset, although she does not like to use force against other canines unless necessary. She would much rather use her carefully chosen words to win a battle if the situation presents itself.
She will always be loyal to her family, no matter the situation. Vyra would never do anything to jeopardize the safety of her family. Safety in a way, another of the biggest ideals in her life. She would much rather deal with a situation calmly than to throw her family into the fray of teeth and claws.
Although while very hard to throw Vyra away from her composure, there are times when she is pushed to far. Her already powerful look becomes that of a vicious and sharped tongued beast. It would be advised not to push her to this point. For if you do something to her this bad, you can be sure revenge is eminent. And it will not be nice in any form.
Vyra also has a very strong hate for those that lie to her. Gaining her trust the first time is easy, if you take it away however.. expect to not get it back. Liars are her biggest pet peeve, and you can see it on her face when she knows you are lying. The only time you may see Vyra make a rash decision is if she feels you are betraying her trust.

Vyra was born away from the excitement of the humans and their big city's. She was born in the deep forests of a secluded place where two packs reigned supreme. Enemies when put against each other, and friends when something new threatens their existence. It was a balanced way of living and Vyra was a large part of it.
She was born to a father who was the lead hunter of her pack, the Namies. While her mother was one of the lower set fighters. Her father was a close friend with the alpha, and she Vyra set to be 'married' to the alphas first son, Khuna, when the two became old enough.
Vyra grew up with two other siblings, her brother Makus and her younger sister Sibi. She was close with her siblings, but they always seemed so eager to do things while Vyra was always the one to sit back and observe the situations before jumping into them. Often when the pack would hold their weekly games, she would sit on the edge of the circles and simply watch. That was until they added one of the biggest games.
Now the games were things usually one pack would do within itself, things to make the bond between themselves closer through things like hunting for buried prey as teams, or even sparring. But this was the first game that the two packs came together to create. It was essentially a game of hide and seek. The hider was put in a random place in the other packs territory and set free to find a place to hide, while the seeker was the wolf from the other pack. In the beginning it was a good idea.
-
It was the only one of the games Vyra would every compete in. Her mindset was perfect for the game, as she could be put anywhere as a territory and use her ability to not crack under pressure and find some of the best hiding spots. Only ever found a few times, she reigned as Queen of the games. And this made some wolves from the other pack jealous. So they set a trap..
Vyra and Khuna grew very close together, and soon they would announce to the pack of their affection. It was time for the games again that week and Khuna was going before her this time. The packs usually met in a neutral place between the territories and intermingled here while waiting for the victor to emerge or for the howl of surrender to be called. As Khuna walked away she overheard the talk of a trap and Khuna's name multiple times.
Vyra didn't act on it at first. But the more she waited, the more worried she became. She took her worries to the alpha female of her pack who spoke to the alpha male about it. The two agreed to let Vyra slip away to try and find their son. It wasn't five minutes after her departure that she knew something was up. One.. the smell of Khuna was going the wrong way then the Versailes packs territory. It led her across the border of the packs, and as she got closer she heard the cackling of voices as the Versailes beta and a few grunts were keeping Khuna held down as he snarled and snapped, calling them traitors of the games and many other words.
Vyra's eyes narrowed at them as she walked into the scene, one of the times she didn't think before she acted. She barred her teeth at the Versailes and demanded to know what was going on. The beta turned his head toward Vyra and a grin formed on his face. "Oh Vyra.. you're just in time for your own show." He cackled, nodding to his grunts to leave Khuna to him and to catch her instead.
Vyra hopped and jumped away from them, conserving her energy only to dodge away from the advancing wolves. It worked for a short time, but Vyra was still young and after a few minutes of the dance they pinned her down. Ahead of her sat the beta and her Khuna. The wolf already looked beat and bruised, but he was still snarling and growling, fighting the best he could.
It came down to Vyra watching as the Versailes beta tore his teeth into Khuna's neck, letting him bleed slowly to death. The grunts let go of Vyra so she could run to her mates side, tears in her bright yellow eyes. As she turned on the beta he used his brute weight to pin her down with one paw. As she screamed and cried he brought his face down to her, making her whimper in fear. "Run Vyra.. run away and you will never have to face the wrath of your pack when they are told we found you here, blood on your face and poor.. poor Khuna laying dead in front of you."
"L.. LIAR!"
Vyra pushed herself away from the beta and stumbled away from him. He only laughed and barred his teeth at her. "Run little pest. Run.."
-
And so she did. Vyra ran as far as she could away. Away from her past and away from a crime she didn't commit, but was blamed for. She was around the age of three when she met the Xarthen's and was accepted into their pack. She has now been there a year and has put her past behind her, focusing on her new family and a new beginning.
