HONEY {Dew Divine}
FEMALE
THREE
German Shepherd
LONER
GENERAL APPEARANCE.
To be honest she's not the most out of normal in physical appearance for a GSD, quite usual actually. Ranging in about 25 inches tall and 70 pounds on a good day. Honey is of the paler sort with mostly a lush thick coat of honey gold tone adorning the majority of her sleek bodice. There's almost a cream white partial belt behind each elbow and shoulder that fade off before they'd meet at her withers. A full ebonite saddle reaching across her whole back, licking down over half her rib cage on either side to narrowing off on her neck and tail. Only faint sooty black and honey fur mesh over the peak of her skull, a more defined black diamond in the middle of her forehead that's framed by two dark ears.
Onto Honey's adorable facade that's framed in the thick golden color of honey, her entire muzzle is black in which loop up to encircle her large dark chocolate orbs. The sooty gold color pools down between her eyes, separating them and defining them even better, just at the bridge of her nose does it fade to black. Honey's large melted chocolate gaze as the gateway to her soul, so vivid do they portray her every emotion, it's like a death dwelling pit when she's sad to being the firelight in the night when she's happy. Honey's eyes are what make or break her.
Accommodating These expressive mahogany orbs is her rather expressive smile, black/pink hums to frame her perfectly pink tongue, her mouth is the silver lining to her expressions. She can smile from ear to ear, grin deviously during play, to frowning in fear, or pursed shut when confused. There's an ecstatic look about her facade that could melt another's soul no matter how cold hearted and cruel they are.
With a few more minor details left, her tail only a sooty black/gold till the tip is fully dipped in black. Of which her tail does not go straight and never will. Its curled to the right from always sitting on it as a puppy, and when she actually does hold it in the air it's curled like a half moon across her back, never going straight.
Over all her fur is plush and grainy, but not coarse and overly thick, it poofs out quite alot in which hides her more thin bony figure. Honey adorns the more malnourished physic just because that's how she was forced to live, never given enough food and water will make the body develop poorly. Gratefully her coat covers most of it, she naturally has a high metabolism that's it's very unlikely she'll ever be very fatty at all in her life.

PERSONALITY.
Where to start with this little girl. She's spunky, fun and energetic, yet easily frightened scarred and flightful. Honey has been a very sheltered pup so half her life so far she has been cooped up in a make-shift kennel in a cattle barn stuck with another dog. She never had a real puppy experience so she has alot of pent up energy and mentality of a puppy.
With being so sheltered, loud and strange noises scare her easily and she's known to run off. she'll only come back when she feels like it is safe otherwise someone will have to go searching for her. On another note, she feeds off of another's emotions and reactions. If someone else is afraid and anxious during a thunderstrom, she will become like so as well. If one is being bold and barking at another she will copy them and act like them. Not fully understanding it, but it's like a delayed learning experience from what she should have had as a puppy. She's now experiencing how other dogs actually act in natural lives and why they roll and play or how to test another's dominance.
Once she mellows out and she gets use to someone, she'll loosen up and begin to play, probably to the annoying extent, but she will test them. Honey loves to act dominant and play fight, stealing the top dogs toys or bones she gets a kick out of. It always entails in a game of chase and that's her favorite thing. Normally she'll drop the object before they get too pissed, but she'll always try for it again. Otherwise she just start rough housing till the individual actually begins to play. When she's around those she's use to she's rather fun and open.
High anxiety is a big thing on her though, which feeds her flightiness when fearful. Hates crowds and gets so nervous she will have an accident. When over exposed to things she isn't used to in big amounts she will stop eating or drinking. She's a pacer in theses situations and tries to find a way out or a place to hide. She has never had the nerve to attack when scared she only tries to find a way to escape, unless one actually harms her, she'll then attempt to distract them with a nip perhaps to find an opening to run.
Over all though she is a sweet heart with hardship. Just take it slow and easy and she'll come around. She still has alot of learning to do in this world.

HISTORY.
Honey was born out of an accidental breeding from a kennel that the owners were gone at shows while their dog sitter was naive enough to think one dog was lonely and so she let a female join the male. So to say the owners were not happy but what could they do. The puppies were born and as soon as they were wean-able they were separated if they hadn't been sold and put into the kennels in a barn. They had to many dogs so they doubled up what dogs they could. Means she was too young they threw her in with her uncle. This whole thing was traumatizing to her.
After a time the owners began to neglect taking care of the dogs, becoming pour and burdened with health problems, but to proud to submit the dogs to a shelter. They just let the dogs starve, sleep in their own filth and even just die in the barn. perhaps every four days get scraps of food or water. It was disgusting and grotesque, all the dogs were pathetic looking and almost helpless by the time a person came by and reported the neglect and abuse happening. The person took pitty upon Honey and took her for themselves as the rest were submitted to rescue shelters. It's unknown whom all lived and who didn't.
With her new owner was a new experience in life. Honey gained three pack mates, Major her half brother, Chaos a seven year old female, and Roz the 15 year old grandmother of Chaos. This is where Honey's rehabilitation started and went great. The human took great care of her, spoiling her with love and affection, bringing the dog out of her shell and giving her the best life possible. A year or so passed and she was to full health and happier than ever being able to play with Major and Chaos as she pleased, Honey LOVED to get on her brother's nerves and toy with him means he thought he was Alpha out of them. Honey was in pure bliss.
It kinda got sad though. Her human's sister left to college and took Major and Chaos with her, while just leaving Roz, of whom was no fun to play with. Though Honey's human became more active with her to keep her company and well excersized it wasn't the same without Major to play with. Honey lived with it though, she gained a stronger bond with her human and enjoyed every moment with her.
But disaster hit. Tornado's began to plague their home. It wasn't long they were using the basement of the house like a bombshelter against the Tornados. It wasn't terrible at first. perhaps just one every two or three weeks. Than heavy rainstorms began and the tornado's became worse and more constant, up to three or four a week. It was during a tornado that hit 100+ mphs of winds. The whole family went to the deepest parts of the basement under the stairs, it was the safest place they could get to and find. A direct hit on the house. It was torn off of the basement so easily it was like ripping a piece of paper in two. The family and Honey's girl held close and huddled the animals that were left in the corner of their cubby-hole under the stairs. It wasn't enough though, the winds were too strong and ripped the humans away leaving the animals alone. Roz panicked and stepped out to early before the tornado was gone and was swooped up herself. Honey did get yanked out of her hiding corner but got stopped by being wedged between the stair railing and cement wall.
Honey wasn't about to get free till the tornado was gone and rains came making it easier for her to slip out from being wedged. Her sides were bruised on both sides with cracked ribs for sure. She was in such shock from all the loss, only other thing to survive was one of the cats that fled as soon as rain was done. But the whole family was dead and scattered. All of them were hopelessly dead. Honey wept for a long time laying next to her human till the stench of the dead body got to strong. So thus Honey was forced to leave and try to find a new home. Taking with her a softball that her human had taught her how to play fetch with, she'd always hold this item dear to her.
