BEATRIX
FEMALE
FOUR YEARS
HUSKY (1/4) X TIMBER WOLF (3/4)
XARTHEN
I look like a wolf, okay! What more do you need to know? What do you mean wolves don't have blue eyes? Eff off! Ugh, fine, I guess I can tell you a bit about myself.. Or the way I look.. Since you're so damn persistent. You know you're annoying, right? God, I hate you.
Uhm, alright, lets start off with my size. I'm rather on the small side for a wolf, but that doesn't mean anything! I'm about twenty-six inches tall, and I weigh fifty or so pounds on a good day. So, yeah, I'm not really bulky at all. My build is rather small and lean, with thin legs and undefined muscles. But just because you can't see them doesn't mean they aren't there. You want me to prove it? No? Coward.
My face is normal I guess? I mean, my muzzle is cream and then around my eyes, ears, and the top of my head I have different hues of gray and silver, with a little bit of brown and black mixed in. I dunno, I don't really look at it too much. My eyes are blue, and that's all that needs to be said on that matter.
The rest of my body matches my head in coloration. My underside is mostly cream, with my back, sides, flanks, and pretty much everything else being gray and silver, with some cream, brown, and black mixed in. I think it looks very wolfy, don't you?

THE GOOD: Adaptable, Brave, Creative, Decisive, Honest, Independent, Plucky, Practical, Straightforward, Tough.
Adaptable - Change doesn't bother this chick. It is very easy for Beatrix to take things in stride and learn to live with the change. She absolutely doesn't let it upset her at all. It has a lot to do with her brave nature. Fearing change is what makes it hard, and since she faces her fears head on, she has no trouble dealing with it.
Brave - To say that Beatrix is fearless would be a lie, because you have to be afraid to be brave. Being brave is accepting that you are afraid and learning to face it and get past it. Beatrix allows herself five seconds of fear in scary situations, then she takes a deep breath and faces them.
Creative - Beatrix is very creative. She can make up stories, she can figure ways out of situations that others might not see.
Decisive - Beatrix isn't the kind of girl to say, "I dunno, you choose." Oh no, she knows what she wants. She makes a decision and she sticks with it, and most of the time she has no problem making her decision. She just has to figure out what is best for her, after all.
Honest - If you want to be lied to, don't come to Beatrix. She is a very honest canine, and she rarely ever lies. She has to have a very good reason before she will lie or deceive. After all, bending the truth or dodging isn't lying.. Right?
Independent - Beatrix doesn't want, nor does she need your help. She can manage just fine by herself, thanks. She doesn't long for anyone to protect or help her, in fact she is insulted by the notion.
Plucky - Beatrix is determined and courageous, and these two traits can be combined to reach one trait.. Plucky. Beatrix will face any situation head-on and she won't stop until she has solved her problem.
Practical - Beatrix does not deal in foolish, idealistic notions. Friends forever? Lovers forever? Please, don't make her laugh. Everyone is going to have plenty to eat through winter? Shut up. She isn't going to lie or embellish the situation, instead she will take it how it is, and she'll let others know when they aren't.
Straightforward - She doesn't 'beat around the bush'. If she has a problem with you, if she has something to say, she's going to say it, she's going to let you know.
Tough - This girl can take it. She can take physical pain, she can take emotional pain. Sure, they hurt, but she'll live through and she'll be stronger for it.
THE BAD: Aggressive, Belligerent, Bossy, Callous, Domineering, Flirtatious, Harsh, Obstinate, Quick-Tempered, Sarcastic.
Aggressive - Beatrix is fairly aggressive. She tends to solve her problems through fighting and rarely stops to think about diplomatic ways to get things done.
Belligerent - Beatrix is always itching for a good fight. She doesn't want to hear reason when she is angry and ready to throw down, and most of the time she refuses to.
Bossy - Beatrix has this thing where she likes to tell others what to do, and she also has this thing where she believes she has every right to. She thinks she is right and that she knows best, and she doesn't respond well when she is told otherwise.
Callous - It is hard to hurt Beatrix's feelings, and she is rather tough, so she can take physical pain.. She finds it disgusting and off-putting when other canines are 'weaker' than her. She doesn't understand why they let themselves hurt, and she doesn't try to.
Domineering - We've already discussed how Beatrix is bossy, well she's not only bossy, but she is rather arrogant about it. She isn't at all bothered if she has to force someone to believe the way she does or do what she says.
Flirtatious - Now, being a little flirty isn't always a bad thing.. But it is in Beatrix's case. She loves stringing others along. Sometimes she will flirt with other females, and she isn't even really attracted to them. She can have several lovers at once, and she will do nothing to try and hide it.
Harsh - You know how she is straightforward and honest? Well, she has this certain way of delivering her honesty and opinions that can only be described as harsh and cruel.
Obstinate - Beatrix might be able to adapt to conditions around her, but she certainly isn't able to adapt her opinion. She believes that she is right, so why would she change her opinion if she's right?
Quick Tempered - It is very easy to make this girl mad or get on her bad side. One slip of the tongue, one wrong look, and you'll be on the receiving end of -at the very least- a tongue lashing.
Sarcastic - Beatrix just loves being sarcastic, and making others feel useless and silly. It helps her to feel useful and smart.

Before Conception - Well, I guess one good thing I can say about my parents is that they have never lived with the scum that is human beings. My mother.. Well, I'm ashamed to admit it, but I was told I wasn't allowed to lie here so.. My mother was half Siberian Husky. I know, I know.. I was shocked to find out too. I don't really know what my father saw in her, but he took her as a mate, and my siblings and I were conceived. My parents lived in the mountains just outside the city. They weren't apart of a pack or anything, they just lived in a small cave and hunted for themselves and stuff. My siblings and I were born in the middle of Spring, with very favorable conditions. We all survived. There was me, my sister, and my two brothers. My youngest brother was a bit of a runt, and he looked so much like a Husky that you would think he was a pure bred. My parents were ashamed of him, but that's what my dad gets I suppose.
Puppy-hood - I had a very nice time growing up. My mother and father were loving, I got along well with all of my siblings. My brother and sister, excluding the runt, were a lot of fun to play with. I guess I haven't told you my family's names yet, have I? My dad's name was Syriss, my mom's name was Estelle. Achilles is my oldest brother, Belladonna is my slightly younger sister, and Osiris is the runt. Anyway, he wasn't any fun to play with. He wasn't very tough, and he cried over the smallest things. Mom was always babying him, and it caused her and dad to get in a lot of fights.
By the time we were six months old, it was very clear that mom and dad didn't love each other anymore. My father came home one day and announced that he could no longer be with my mother. He asked if any of us wanted to accompany him. I had always been a daddy's girl, so I jumped on the chance. My other siblings all chose to stay with mother. She was all teary when father and I were about to leave, she even begged him to stay! Ugh, can you believe that? I was so disgusted that I almost couldn't tell her I loved her before we left.
Adolescence - I had a lot of fun living with my dad. Of course, it was rather tough. We only had each other, and at first I was more of a burden than a help. But I learned quickly, and my father had soon shaped me into a formidable hunter, fighter, and tracker. Most of the time we hunted together, but other than that I was left to my own devices. It was one day when I was out exploring that I discovered the city and humans. I asked dad plenty of questions about them, and he explained about how they were dirty, incompetent creatures who were destroying the earth. I vowed to stay away from the city and the humans, pledging my allegiance to the forest and my father.
Of course, things can't stay good forever. I think we all know that, right? I mean, you're not stupid enough to believe that is always going to be easy.. Are you? My father ran into another she-wolf right before my second birthday. She seemed to be rather put-off by my presence, and while dad never asked me to leave, I knew that he would like to and deserved to have a mate worthy of him. So one night I announced that I was leaving. The she-wolf seemed very pleased, but I could tell my dad was conflicted. I told him I would be okay, he had raised a survivor.
Adulthood - I decided that it was time to visit my mother and siblings after I left my father and his new mate. We hadn't moved far away from the mountain cave where we left them, in fact I had passed it the day that I discovered the city. When I arrived, I found Belladonna and Osiris in the cave, their eyes dull, their ribs protruding. I thought this was a rather odd sight, given that it was the middle of summer. A bit of questioning, and I soon figured out what the problem was. Mother had been killed by a bear shortly after father and I left. Belladonna, Osiris, and Achilles had never learned how to hunt properly before her untimely demise. Achilles had joined up with some gang in the city, abandoning his siblings. Moved by family ties, I stayed with them for several months, teaching them to hunt and defend themselves. By the time I left, I was well over three years old, and I was confident in the fact that my siblings could now take care of themselves.
I decided, despite everything that my father had taught me, I would go into the city and seek out my brother. Once I arrived there, I felt very uncomfortable. A bit of questioning left me with no leads, and I decided to leave. I entered the woods outside the city at a place I had never been before, and I ran into a member of the Xarthen pack. We conversed a bit, and I eventually joined them.
