Dynamic's paws slowly padded up the plank that led up to the SS Devlin. His ears were pricked, acoutsics listening for any signs of movement. his warm amber eyes were locked ahead as he walked up and onto the deck of the old rusted ship.
the air smelled of brine and salty sea air which he inhaled deeply. he liked being near the water. it was calming for him and soothing. He walked along the deck, glancing around. there were several rusted old anchors as well as life preservers still hanging against the railing.
his paws took him further toward the stern. long heavy chains were coiled against the wall. there was a door that was opened. curiosity got the better of him and he nudged the door open, slipping inside the ship.
the air ws stale in here and smelled of mold, decay and...death. he didn't know what happened in here. but whatever it was had to be bad. he could feel the impressions left behind by it. A shiver passed down his spine as he shivered and pressed on, exploring the bowels of the ship. He passed a gally, some officers quarters and the captains room.
The boiler room wasn't too far off and he slipped into that too. it still looked fairly intact. He tucked his hindquarters and listened. the air was heavy and silent and not a sound could be heard. it was highly eerie and he felt himself wanting to get out as quickly as possible. He turned around and headed back in the direction he'd come, stepping up onto the deck again. he went to the bow and sat there, gazing out over the water and at the city that made up the skyline and the horizon. the sun peered out from behind clouds, cascading down. he sighed wondering if he'd meet anyone today.
