PLOT
Drought, famine, war, radiation—the human race, as a whole, has endured many things, throughout the expanse of its time upon earth. From nature striking against them to striking against themselves, one thing, since the dawn of their creation, slowly became exceedingly clear;
they were a disaster unto themselves.
War after war wreaked havoc upon the fragile planet, among with many other grotesque, unfathomable things; as the population expanded, people began grasping at independence and freedom of speech, thus proceeding to use it to their advantages. They acted as they wished, believed in what they wished, and, ultimately, began slowly annihilating their own kind from the moment different views were expressed. From religion to greed, humans rapidly evolved to come up with countless reasons for war.
And, thus became what quickly became referred to as World War Three.
However, this world war was far different than the others--far more technologically advanced.
From nuclear weapons to the excessive amount of war-machines, people knew, from the moment war was announced, that the world would meet its doom.
And, succumb to this unfortunate hypothesis, it did.
Within the first year of the war, each public individual of power was slaughtered, assassinated by one of the many other aggressively, fiercely involved countries. Riots broke out daily, the crime rate soared. People went into a state of emergency and, soon enough, hospitals, public transportation systems, and police stations began to close, being abandoned with people still waiting, idly, within their walls. Nearly all major cities were bombed, troops patrolling the streets like predators scavenging for prey until, eventually, there were too little to fight back.
In two years, the race had been wiped to a mere, estimated three-hundred. These were quick to wither away, however, with lack of healthcare, technology, or resources.
This left the planet absent of the apex predator that had dominated for hundreds and thousands of years--and so, with their absence brought the arrival of a new era. With the releasing of house-pets and livestock alike, as well as the lack of a control system for them, the number of strays and wildlife in general sky-rocketed, therefore resulting in an abundance in canines of all sort.
And, so, with a massive amount of canines and nowhere for them to retreat to in order to better survival, four leaders stepped up to claim spots as alphas. They were quick to gather members, seeing as many were at a loss as to what to do with themselves, but, like with the humans, when you give those of extreme differences spots of power, tempers are bound to flare.
Of the four groups--Xarthen, Rhazorn, Cesavias, and Nemilest--two of them immediately conflicted with one another. Xarthen, the all-wolf pack, and Rhazorn, the group pertaining only females, immediately butted heads--quite literally. One of the Xarthen members was caught giving a female of the pack a savage beating and, therefore, the groups are now on the verge of war. Cesavias is attempting to remain uninvolved, while Nemilest is longing for a piece of the action.
The fate of all four packs is entirely unknown; will you join the madness, or create a destiny of your own?
note: packs were created just months ago, directly following the end of the war.
